We have a goal to make this world better through the study of materials science and engineering.

For realizing that, we devote ourselves to educating and researching on material matters since 1990. The Department of Advanced Materials offers core curriculums on undergraduate and graduate courses to understand from fundamentals science to engineering applications of the materials. Moreover, competitive research systems of polymers and organic materials have been built with various research funds from government and industry.

The Department of Advanced Materials is striving to educate and train students to become a leader in material science and engineering fields and providing our graduates to achieve an expert role in industry and academic areas.
